Ultimate Harry Potter Tiered Tray

When my kids were younger we would have an annual Harry Potter week every summer. We would make a Harry Potter craft, cook something yummy that is mentioned in the books and watch a movie each day. Now that the kids are older, I can’t make them do anything with me for any length of time!!

So when the month of October rolls around and I’m feeling a little nostalgic for Harry Potter week I make Harry Potter decorations. And this year that meant a tiered tray! (I even got my 14 year old to help me make wands for 10 minutes.)

Everything you find here was made with dollar tree items or found items with the exception of the Harry Potter figures. So you can make this too!

To order the adorable Harry Potter figurines there are tons you can find. These are the ones I bought:

I also thought about these ones:

No products found.

As far as the other decorations go I used items I found at dollar tree, my Cricut machine and some paint.

The textbooks were made from a  piece of pine cut into a square that was cut into at .6 inch intervals.  You could make it that way or find a small crate to paint and label the same way.

The 9 and 3/4 sign was a great find from the Dollar Tree! I painted over the original text and added  a vinyl 9 and 3/4.

The cute little spell jars were Target Dollar Spot. Plus I used lots of crates and boxes to create levels.

Luna Lovegood is one of my son’s favorite characters so when I found these glasses I knew I had to include them. The glasses are in the party section of Dollar Tree and I added pink vinyl with the cricut.

I hope this inspires you to create your own Harry Potter tiered tray! I had tons of fun  making it and will love my little recollection of long ago Harry Potter Weeks!
